of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP) is a leading, non-profit making
register of qualified hypno-psychotherapists. The NRHP keeps an up-to-date database
of hypnotherapists throughout the United Kingdom and Overseas and provides
a free referral service, for those seeking a reputable practitioner. 
The Register of Approved Gastro-Intestinal Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (RAGPH) is a faculty of NRHP. NRHP Members who have undergone approved. additional training in treating IBS and other gut-related illnesses are eligible to register. Please click here for a list of therapists.
You will find information on this website to enable you to decide if you need the services of one of our members.
NRHP registered therapists will abide by a Code of Ethics set out by their professional Governing Body and their practice will be suitably insured. They will have been professionally trained and will be committed to maintaining their professional expertise through a Continuous Professional Development programme.
They will also have regular and appropriate professional supervision and consultative support and the client will at all times be treated with respect and discretion. The entire therapeutic relationship will be treated as confidential as explained by the therapist at the initial consultation. They will also be subject to a formal complaints procedure should any member of the public feel it necessary to raise a concern. NRHP members can now register with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) - www.cnhc.org.uk. The NRHP has been approved as a verifying Professional Association for the CNHC. The CNHC is a regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners, which was set up with Government funding and support and acts in the interests of the public. Its function is to enhance public protection by setting standards for registration. NRHP members - please visit the Members' Area for details of registration.
